Chai Oat Cake

 

Oatmeal just got a serious upgrade with Chef Alicia's Distilled Chai!

Ingredients

Cooking spray

1 ripe banana, mashed

1 cup rolled oats

2 tablespoons flour

1/2 teaspoon Distilled Chai

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 cup grated carrot

2 tablespoons finely chopped walnuts

1 tablespoon honey

3/4 cup milk

3 tablespoons full fat Greet yogurt

3 tablespoons whipped cream cheese

More chopped walnuts, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F. Apply a thin layer of cooking spray to a loaf pan.

  2. In a medium bowl, combine banana, oats, flour, Distilled Chai, baking powder, carrot, walnuts, honey and milk.

  3. Transfer mixture to the prepared loaf pan and bake for 30 minutes, until firm. Allow to cool for 10 minutes.

  4. Combine yogurt and cream cheese and frost the top; garnish with chopped walnuts.
