Clock out of Santa’s Workshop. It’s time to get tipsy!!

Ingredients

2 tablespoons softened butter

2 teaspoons agave syrup

1 teaspoon apple pie spice

2 ounces dark rum

12 ounces water

Instructions

If you don’t have apple pie spice in your pantry, combine 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg, a pinch of ground allspice, 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger, and 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom. Any combination of these spices is delicious; or, substitute pumpkin pie spice.

Use a fork to combine the butter, agave, and apple pie spice. Divide the spiced butter equally between two mugs. Pour an ounce of rum in each mug.

Bring water to a boil. When the water reaches a boil, fill each mug about half way. Stir until the spiced butter has melted. Then, fill the mugs with the remaining water. Garnish with a pinch of apple pie spice, and biscottis for dipping!
