Homemade Breakfast Sausage
Add fennel seeds and sage to ground pork and you instantly get a breakfast sausage vibe. Some thyme, garlic salt and a hot skillet and it's hello, breakfast!
Ingredients
8 ounces ground pork
3/4 teaspoon garlic salt
1 teaspoon fennel seeds
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon ground sage
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon olive oil
Instructions
Combine pork and all the spices.
Form pork mixture into 4 patties.
Heat the olive oil in a small skillet over medium heat. Once shimmering, add patties and cook, undisturbed, for 5 minutes. Flip the patties and cook another 3-4 minutes, until fully cooked.
