White Bean and Thyme Crostini

 

If you could fit Italy on a crostino, this would be it. YUM!

Ingredients

1 package pre-sliced baguette crostini

1 can cannellini beans, drained and rinsed

1 teaspoon garlic paste

1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves, plus more for garnish

1 teaspoon lemon zest

3 tablespoon grated Parmesan

3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

1/2 teaspoon smoked black pepper

3 tablespoons chopped Marcona almonds, for garnish

Flaky salt, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place crostini on a serving platter.

  2. Mash cannellini beans with garlic, thyme, lemon zest, Parmesan, olive oil and smoked pepper.

  3. Spread bean mixture onto crostini.

  4. Garnish with thyme leaves, chopped Marcona almonds and flaky salt.
